my advice is tell your friend to call the cops and tell the cops whats going on that the mother knew about the abuse the whole time and didnt do anything about it and now the dad is getting out of jail and might be moving back in and she is scared for her life if the cops believe her they will remove her from the home. the cops are not going to call you guys for the first people for her to go to they will try to find any other family that would be willing to take her in but if the cops remove her from the home because she is 14 they might let her have a say on where she goes. have your mom keep callng colorado child services also and tell them you dont think she is safe there.
