Cowboys db adam jones?

adam jones said over the past offseason that he would like to be known by his given name of adam jones rather than his nickname of pacman.... so why dont columnists and announcers respect his wishes and call him adam rather than oacman? he is clearly trying to rid himself of his past screw ups and legal troubles and trying to start fresh, why cant everyone help him with that and giv him another chance? all he wants is to rid himsel fof the nickname because it is ociated with his past hi jinks.
