Renaissance period help?

For a school we have to create a three dimentional project on different aspects of the reniance period. One of them i was intrested in was architecture but when you look online it mainly comes up as castles or reniance style homes today. I was thinking something more like the living/homes of peasants but i have nooo idea where to look or what im really looking for.. if someone could help that would be AH-MAZING!
