How can you comment this quote "Education is an ornament in prosperity and a refuge in adversity" Aristotle ?

Knowledge is a tool in any progress for having enough facts one can make plans or ideas how to improve current status as in the case of adversity. It becomes an ornament or display or not that given much emphasis for some individuals who are born with a silver spoon. I would agree with the latter not with the former for most of the prosperous people value education much.
