Erosion Experiment???

HELP! I need to do an experiment about erosion or weathering due friday!! Please help! I am in 8th grade, My one idea was to do a pan with dirt in a mound and add water and see what is looks like and to do the same with a flat area or dirt (plain) and a mound with gr, but i cant grow gr in one day?
