What is the best way to add realistic hair to a bald head using Photoshop CS3 (or CS2)?

I'm doing a demonstration of Photoshop for my speech cl. My professor is bald and I would like to show the cl what he would look like if he had different hairstyles. So please tell me how to do it or where I can find the steps. Please be really detailed in your answers. Thanks
