Good or bad idea to ask girlfriend's mom for relationship feedback / advice?

I see nothing wrong with that. Its sweet that you're concern/care about her happiness. Why dont you try asking your girlfriend? I understand she dosent like to communicate but she is the one you in a relationship with but other than that i think its sweet you putting in time for her happiness and asking advice from someone older is a good way too.
