What ever happened to "if you don't like it, change the channel"?

This is a great metaphor, and I think you're right. Mankind will get no where if they complain about what's on or, more accurately, what's going on. Even so, I think America has gotten to the state that many of us have misplaced the remote and are too lazy to look for it.
